Amanda and Robert Larrivee were busted trying to steal TVs from a sports bar in Springfield, Massachusetts. The criminal pair was caught when a witness saw them attempting to remove a TV from the ladies' room. The witness quickly ran to the manager who locked the Larrivees in the bathroom until authorities could be notified. Cops got there quickly but Robert didn't want to go quietly. He threatened to beat up one of the cops. Then he tried coming up with an excuse for why he and Amanda were in the bathroom together. His explanation? They were in there having sex. And NOT stealing TVs.
That might have been a workable excuse but for one little detail. Amanda and Robert aren't a married couple, they're a brother and sister. Of course that fact alone doesn't ruin the excuse. For all we know they could've been having sex in there. This is America after all. And they are kind of cute. Maybe they do that kind of thing all the time? Hey, who am I to judge. As long as you use birth control. Don't be having no two-headed babies Amanda! Otherwise, go ahead. Let your brother's penis take you over the rainbow. If that's what turns you on.
But the actual factual truth is, they weren't having sex. Amanda confirmed this in a television interview. The charges were dropped against her and she immediately set about distancing herself from her brother. She said, "I just want to come out and really let people know that it’s not what it looked like. It’s humiliating and the comment having sexual relations with my brother was an impulse, immature comment made by him that is not the truth." That's actually kind of disappointing. I was hoping these two might become the official spokespeople for sibling sexy-love. Isn't it about time we broke that silly taboo? Not this time though.
